about LVAC

LVAC serves as a voluntary organisation, dedicated to reach out to the unfortunate residents in SPCA (for animals) and Shelter House (for children). Most importantly, it is established not only to assist and provide for those in need, at the same time, the volunteers are here to show the true meaning of TLC.

Our main objective is to organise a trip to SCPA/Shelter House at least once every two months. We believe that a sense of satisfaction could be achieved through bonding with the animals and kids
we hope to personally attend to each and every of the residents because we want them to know that their need to be loved is always, always taken care of.

We're currently seeking members who are serious about volunteering because that's what the entire organisation is all about - to be able to really contribute. Remember, your contribution matters in helping to build a stronger society of today and a better generation of tomorrow. So for a moment, let's just focus on helping the less fortunates and make their lives better because they too, deserve this

greetings from the LVAC president.

“When mind calls for peace, brings LVAC.”

First of all, I would like to express my gratitude for all those who are willing to join The League of Volunteers for Animals and Children (LVAC). Therefore, for me to appear here, not only as the president of LVAC but bearing the great honour as a human being, as a friend and as a colleague to say thank you for joining us to be a volunteer.

The quotation above will be considered as our motto. Peace means the absence of violence, aggression and hostility. On the other hand, peace represents equality, justice and freedom. What I want to say is we are trying to curb all negative values that affect the animals and children. Bear in mind, everyone or everything deserves a second chance. All they need is a chance and we are here to provide the faith.

Allowed me to share something back in 2007, I had invited some of my school friends to go for volunteering in a small orphanage home around in Rawang and KL. The plan did not work out. But not until today, where we finally able to form the League, and managed to get more than 50 members. With these I would acknowledge the fact that there are still many people around who are still in fact cares for the society. I truly believe that with the task of protecting or at least aiding the animals and children is a noble act.

Many people would wonder the reason I formed this group, they were asking am I doing this for fame or for good name. The answer is NO. The whole reason is that as a member of the society, we ought to contribute ourselves for the society as a whole. Regardless, I found joy in seeing my friends or in fact new people I don’t even know to have a heart to care for the well-being of others. It is a great inspiration provided by these people to me that I’d finally mustered my courage and strength again, to form this league.

As matter of fact, our main purpose is to help the animals and children by all means. Let’s not forget how some people degrading the animals and also our innocent children. We all know what they did, and we are here to help. It is thereby, our purposes consisting of offering care, support and inspiring others through their dedication to those in need. Our common objective will include the practice of humanitarian principle where children and animals shall be treated humanely in all circumstances and we seek to employ the value of impartiality into our mind.

By implementing the sense of cohesion and solidarity within the society and LVAC, we convert individual action into collective action directed to our purposes. Consequently, we are allowing for a bigger action and impact. People are able to show their value and reiterate that they have an important place in the society. Again, I believe this would be a remarkable experience to all of us.

Finally, I would like to ask all delegates or also known as LVAC officers to convert the purposes into reality and together we transmit our vision to all members of LVAC and not to receive applaud for your effort but we recognise the value of your support and work.

Thereby, we officially welcome all members. I’m pledging in future events in which we could work together, share our experience and this League is dedicated to those who are willing to spend their time, effort and energy in being a sincere volunteer. I gave my sincerest thanks to all members because without every single volunteer, we won’t be able to make this League a reality to all of us and the society as well.
